• tackling anti-social behaviour
• improving living environment
• reducing violent crime
• providing quality land and facilities for shops, offices and factories
• maintaining roads and tackling congestion
• ensuring new homes are built to higher standards

We are working together to make the county greener by,

• using less energy is our public buildings
• preparing for the effects of climate change, such as flooding
• generating less waste and sending less, ultimately, to landfill
• reducing traffic congestion
