Putting the community at the heart of local service development is a key benefit that strategic commissioning will deliver.
However, both as a partnership, and as individual organisations responsible for delivering public services, we cannot claim to be meeting the needs of the community without a firm understanding of what those needs are, based on a robust, consistent, and accurate evidence base about Leicestershire.
The outputs of the Analyse stage are therefore fundamental not just to strategic commissioning, but to every aspect of our day to day business.

- Places in Leicestershire (locality specific, December 2009)
- Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (Health, September 2009)
- Leicestershire’s Economic Assessment (pending, February 2009)
