The Leicestershire Funding Toolkit was launched in July 2006. The project was identified as an action in the Community Strategy Review in 2005 and was developed jointly by Leicestershire Together and Leicestershire County Council.

The Funding Toolkit provides one-stop access to advice and information on funding for the voluntary and community sector in Leicester and Leicestershire and includes;

• A step by step guide to successful grant applications
• Free access to a comprehensive and regularly updated searchable database of funding sources
• Information on where to get further help and advice
• Access to statistical data and key documents that are valuable in developing grant applications
• A jargon buster
• Funding news and information on events and training on securing funding

We are constantly looking to develop the funding toolkit and ensure it meets the needs of its users, and the project team are keen to discuss its development with anyone interested.
