NHS Leicestershire County & Rutland and Leicestershire County Council are participating in a new partnership initiative through Leicestershire Together, to improve access to local services. Representatives from diversity groups in Leicestershire make up the Leicestershire Working Together (LWT) forum including the following communities: Age, Asylum Seekers & Refugees, Black & Minority Ethnic (BME), Carers, Disability, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Transgender, Gypsy & Traveller Community and Religious/ Faith groups.
The aim of the LWT forum is to give different Leicestershire communities the chance to influence and shape the work of Leicestershire Together and partner agencies. By engaging with diverse communities in Leicestershire, we hope to utilise people’s experience, interests and expertise when considering any changes to services affecting them.
Papers for each meeting will be available on this page.
The Forum will meet quarterly, and will feed into the Leicestershire Together Board via an update report at each meeting. The Forum is supported by the Policy & Partnerships Team at Leicestershire County Council, and NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland, Equality & Diversity team.
