Partnerships in Leicestershire
There are hundreds of partnerships in Leicestershire operating at a sub regional (ie County & City), County & District level. Last year, on behalf of Leicestershire Together, the County Council collected information about many of the partnerships operating in the County. This information is all now available in the partnership database, which will enable partnerships to search for and identify other partnerships in the county with similar objectives. Leicestershire Together has also developed a Partnership Self Assessment Toolkit to assist partnerships at all levels to evaluate their structures, processes and ways of working. This will assist in the identification of key strengths and weaknesses and assist in the development of Action Plans to address these. The database and toolkit will facilitate self evaluation and enable partnerships to consider whether the business of the partnership could be done in a more resource efficient way, perhaps by working more closely with or through another partnership.
