The Leicestershire Together Strategic Board comprises people from across the county’s public, business, voluntary and community sectors.
Political representatives from Leicestershire’s county, district and parish councils, sit alongside colleagues from the Police, the NHS, the voluntary sector, the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council, community groups and other county wide partnerships such as the Leicestershire Rural Partnership, to set an agreed long term vision for Leicestershire. It’s ultimate aim is simple: to make the county a better place to live, work and enjoy between now and 2026.
The Board agrees key documents, such as the Local Area Agreement, Multi Area Agreement and Community Strategy. And it oversees the implementation of these agreements, intervening where necessary where targets are not being met either within a particular place or service.
