The Health & Wellbeing Partnership Board is responsible for delivering key outcomes around health inequalities, mental health, increasing levels of physical activity, reducing obesity, smoking and accidents in the home as well improving sexual health especially among young people.
This involves monitoring and challenging performance at all levels of the partnership, taking action as necessary, including by agreeing recovery plans and challenging levels of partner engagement.
The Board will engage and act as an advocate on behalf of Leicestershire Together in its work in priority neighbourhoods, at a regional and sub-regional level and with the Audit Commission in relation to the Comprehensive Area Assessment.
