The New Sustainable Community Strategy 2008-2013
Our Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) identifies local priorities bringing together the three elements of sustainability – economic, social and environmental.
The final draft of the SCS was approved by the Leicestershire Together Board at it’s meeting on 10th March, and by Leicestershire County Council, as the accountable body in May 2008. The SCS sets out the priority outcomes for Leicestershire between 2008 and 2013.
Our evidence - This is Leicestershire An updated evidence base, This is Leicestershire 2010 has been produced by the County Council's Research & Information team. The report is currently in its final draft, comments are being taken until 18th August. The first evidence base report, titled This is Leicestershire 2008, was produced by the Research Team at Leicestershire County Council, with input from partners. The second set of reports focuses on “Places in Leicestershire”.These reports have been updated in early 2010. | Our Strategy
